Talavera Ceramic Tile in Green
Uses: Suitable for both residential and commercial interiors, these Talavera tiles are ideal for wall applications. They can also be used sparingly for flooring to create accents or define specific areas.
Protection: In areas prone to moisture, it is recommended to apply a penetrating sealer. This sealer forms an invisible barrier that enhances resistance to moisture and stains, while still allowing vapor to escape. Please note, these tiles are not frost-proof and are therefore not suitable for outdoor use in climates with freeze/thaw cycles.
Coverage: Broken Mexican tiles are sold by weight, not by box. Approximately one pound of broken tiles equals about three 4x4 Talavera tiles, covering an area of approximately 0.33 square feet. To cover one square foot, you would need approximately three pounds of broken tiles.
Shipping: When ordering broken tile, please be aware that it is sold by the pound and orders may be consolidated into fewer boxes. For example, if you order two quantities of 5 pounds each, you will receive one box containing 10 pounds of tile.
